A pair of Lewistown teams took part in the first ever Brooms and Brews Broomball Tournament in Great Falls earlier this month. The event featured six teams and was held as a fund-raiser for the Great Falls Community Ice Foundation. Each team played three games in round robin play, then were seeded in bracket play. The Lewistown Selects matched up against the Lewistown Snow Holes in the semifinal game, where the Snow Holes came out victorious by a score of 4-3 in overtime. The Snow Holes went on to defeat the Lost Boy Scouts (comprised of Boy Scout leaders and administrators from across Montana) in the championship game, 2-0.                                                                  Photo courtesy of Derek Manseau
