In a surprise move on May 8, long-time head volleyball coach Tara Taylor resigned her position, effective at the end of the current school year. Taylor has been a part of the Fergus High School volleyball program for the past 22 years. She served as an assistant coach for six years before taking the head position 16 years ago.
In a press release from FHS, Athletic Director Jim Daniels wrote, “Tara indicated her working career and coaching career are no longer able to align and afford her the opportunity to continue to coach the Golden Eagles.”
