Central Montana received another much-needed dose of moisture as rain turned into snow late Thursday night into Friday.
As of 9 a.m. Friday, Lewistown had received .47 in of precipitation, with another two or three-tenths of an inch expected for the remainder of the day. Following Wednesday’s .14 inches of rainfall, Friday’s precipitation brings the weekly precipitation total to just shy of an inch.
The storm system that brought Friday’s rain, however, didn’t quite develop as anticipated, at least across Central Montana.
