On Saturday, June 18 at the Montana Day Building (aka The Megahertz Ballroom), Stone City is getting the community up close and musical with Inside the Songs. This is volume three of the series, with a goal to captivate audiences. Three singer song writers take the stage together to interact with each other, with the audience, and to share both their original music and insider accounts of their creativity and experiences. On the June 18, joining Dave Rummans and Steven Hughes in the storytelling musical evening, is Nashville hit singer-songwriter, Susan Gibson. Gibson wrote a song while she was in college called, “Wide Open Spaces”, which ended up becoming one of the biggest country hits of all times and was performed by The Chicks (aka, The Dixie Chicks). She later worked with other artists such as Jim Lauderdale.
