‘Blessing of the Animals’ service held Sunday, Oct. 2

St. James’ Episcopal Church will observe the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi with its sixth annual “Blessing of the Animals” service on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 4 p.m.

Registration begins at 3:30 p.m., and early arrival allows all the critters to become acquainted before worship.

All types of animals are encouraged to attend. They must be kept under control and not running loose. A reception will follow with animal treats and people food too.

St. James is located at 502 West Montana Street in Lewistown. If you have questions, please contact the Rev. Jean Collins at jgcollins08@gmail.com or 538-5151.
