ACT Help math session

Mary Jo and Jim Hamling will be offering three help sessions for the upcoming ACT test. These sessions are free of charge, and any student taking the Wednesday, April 19 test is encouraged to attend. The help sessions will be Thursday, March 23; Monday, March 27; and Tuesday, April 4. The sessions will go from 7-8 p.m. and will meet in Room 108 at Fergus High School.

Students attending will need to bring a pencil and calculator. Sample ACT problems are provided with help in solving these problems if needed.

High school students entering the Montana University system are required to have an overall 22 score on the ACT. If this number is not met, students may have to pay for and take a remedial course that will not count towards graduation. Students doing well on the test will qualify for scholarships.
