Frank Day Park was buzzing with hockey players and fans last weekend as Lewistown hosted adult teams from across the Treasure State.
The third annual Open Air Classic began Friday afternoon and wrapped up on Sunday. The Havre River Rats skated away with the championship trophy after defeating the Lewistown Snow Holes in the title game.
Lewistown had three teams in the tournament and Bozeman had two. Other squads came from Bozeman, Great Falls and Missoula.
The Open Air Classic is hosted each year by the Lewistown Ice Skating Association. Organizers thanked the many local volunteers and sponsors that made the tournament possible.
