Junior class parents are putting this year’s After-Prom Party together, an event long supported by the Central Montana community.

The after-party will take place at Snowy Lanes following this year’s Grecian-themed prom Saturday, March 24. All students going to prom are encouraged to come out for a fun-filled late-night extravaganza with tons of games, foods and prizes.

“Students will have a chance to win an Apple Watch, Beats Headphones, an iPad mini, a small fridge, a microwave, a Macbook Pro, a Keurig coffee maker and many other items,” said Amanda Larson, a prom committee representative and junior class parent.

Larson said all the junior parents have been “very involved and helpful with setting up the games, food, prizes and collecting sponsorships.”

“We also did a butter braid fundraiser to raise money and all the kids were very involved and successful in this,” she said. “We are all very grateful to the community and the parents for being so involved and getting to participate in such a fun event for the kids.”

The junior class parents will also provide valet parking for students.

After-prom starts at 1 a.m. and goes until 3:30 a.m. All students must check in upon arrival and must check out if they leave prior to 3:30. Parents or guardians will be notified if their student leaves early. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco will not be tolerated.

“The after-party is to provide a safe and fun environment, where the kids can win gifts and items for college, while having fun and hanging out with their peers,” Larson said.
