Alias Brass Company opens Community Concert series

The Alias Brass Company, described as “the only name for music innovation” by the Canadian Brass, and highly recommended by world-renowned trumpeter Jens Lindemann, will appear here in Lewistown Saturday, Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, Fergus High School. The event is open to Community Concert members.


Founded in 2013, The Alias Brass Company is a collaboration of five uniquely talented artists from across the nation. Their fully memorized and choreographed show is comprised of standards and original compositions, along with concepts that blend virtuosic musicianship with a high level of entertainment. From baroque and classical, to jazz and pop, the Alias Brass Company’s show has music for every taste.

Alias entertains audiences across North America, and is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians and music lovers through wide reaching and relevant workshops for young audiences.

The Alias Brass was awarded professional residencies at the Raphael Mendez Brass Institute in Denver, and the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. They have performed countless concerts throughout the U.S. including such areas as Colorado, Texas, California, Kansas, Missouri as well as in Alberta, Canada. They were featured numerous times on KVLU radio, the NPR Affiliate.

The Alias Brass Company’s current shows are an emotional journey combining diverse elements of classical music, modern pop-culture, and all things in between to create an experience that is both engaging and exciting, and sometimes really hilarious. Having received critical acclaim for being captivating, diverse and innovative, Alias delights audiences across America.
