Augusta Pauline “Polly” Siebenaler, 92, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the Central Montana Medical Center in Lewistown.

Polly was born June 26, 1930, in Bercail, Mont., to Frank Gothard Nilsen and Bertha May (Leslie) Nilsen. Polly lived in Bercail until she moved to Judith Gap with her family in approximately 1937. Polly married Michael Siebenaler on May 21, 1949, in White Sulphur Springs and then moved to Wyoming. Polly and Mike moved back to Judith Gap in 1951 where they raised their children and Polly worked as the postmaster until she retired in 1990. Polly and Mike moved to Lewistown in 2005.

Polly enjoyed playing pinochle, talking and laughing with her family and friends, and riding around on the roads of Central Montana.

Polly spent her life loving her family, God, and her community. She was a remarkable woman and brought joy to many with her kindness and sense of humor.

Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; parents; and her six siblings.

Survivors include her children, Kathi Peccia of Eugene, Ore., Mary Ann (Tyrone) Robinson of Great Falls, Kenny (Shirley) Siebenaler of Sidney, and Joe (Becky) Siebenaler of Victor; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren and their families.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making contributions to Council on Aging.

Viewing and visitation will be held at the Creel Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, Aug. 1, from 1 to 7 p.m., with the family receiving guests from 5 to 7 p.m. There will also be viewing at the church, one hour prior to the service. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo’s Catholic Church of Lewistown on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at the Judith Gap Cemetery, with a luncheon for family and friends at the Community United Methodist Church in Judith Gap.
