Brianna Bergum began playing the game of basketball at a young age.

“I played a lot of basketball with my brother Brandon in our shop while we were growing up,” said Brianna. “I have grown to love the game since I was very young.”

Now Brianna is a member of the Tri-City Lady Titans basketball team. Brianna, now a junior, has been a starter on the Lady Titans since she was a sophomore.

“The game has always kind of just come to me,” Brianna added. “This year our season is going really well. We are having lots of fun, and I am excited about the rest of the season.”

Brianna and the rest of the Lady Titans sit in third place in District 8C with a 4-2 conference record. One of their best games of the season was when they defeated Roy-Winifred on Dec. 21 in Winifred. The Lady Titans have lost conference games against Belt and Winnett-Grass Range. Overall the team has a 9-2 record with the Lady Titans winning all five of their non-conference games.

Besides basketball, Brianna enjoys playing volleyball for the Lady Titans. She was on the team that went to state during her sophomore year.

Brianna is a member of Moore FFA and FCCLA. She serves as the secretary of FCCLA. Brianna also is a member of the Moore National Honor Society. She is the NHS representative to the Moore Student Council.

Brianna said her favorite color is blue.

“Right now, my favorite television program is ‘Criminal Minds’,” Brianna added.

Brianna is the daughter of Janelle and Andy Bergum. She has gone to the Moore School since kindergarten. Her only sibling is Brandon. He is a year older than Brianna.
