Be Your Way: Burger King coming to Lewistown

How many fast food restaurants can Lewistown support? It looks like the town is about to find out, as the News-Argus learned Monday that a lease has been signed with the owners of a Burger King franchise. The new restaurant will be located in a development planned for west Lewistown, between Tractor Supply and Basin State Bank.

According to Kelly Cocca, director of operations for Cocca Development of Boardman, Ohio, the development company is actively engaged in finding tenants for a multi-store project planned for land they own at the corner of Main and F streets.

Originally Cocca Development planned to build an ALCO Store on the land, but when that company went bankrupt in 2014, other plans had to be made. Cocca said she cannot yet release the names of companies who may locate on the Lewistown property, but that there are several.

Cocca Development is a real estate development and management company with properties in 22 states. In Montana the company has property in Wolf Point as well as Lewistown.
