(Above) Bob Papp is helping the Club get ready for the Festival of Trees in July. Cleaning the boxes donated by the Dover family of Buffalo was a big job. They turned out great. We love this volunteer and his generous donation.

From Shila Fischer, program director:

It is always a good time at the Club. The summer has been off to a great start. With the introduction of new creative play toys, the kiddos are kept very busy. This summer we have stretched our minds and lit our creative bugs to come up with the most awesome things. In the Creative Play Room I have seen them role play, create elaborate marble mazes, build cool cars and strategize their next big move in UNO. Paint by Sticker still remains the most popular Creative Art Center. However, rubber band bracelets are a close second. Sadly, we will be looking for another great project because our supplies for each of them have run out. Be watching for our next Creative Art Adventure.

From Tracy Huck, education director:

It is time to start thinking about fall enrollment. We will be having re-enrollment meetings for current families (only) on July 30 at 5:30 p.m. and Aug. 1 at noon. New family enrollment will be on Aug. 6 at 5:30 p.m. and Aug. 13 at 5:30 p.m.

Please remember if you would like your children to attend the Club for the 2018-2019 school year, you are required to be at one of the meetings. Due to classroom sizes, we do not hold positions. It is on a first come, first served basis. For more information, please call me at 535-2257.

Mark your calendar for Aug. 4. We will be having our annual Kid’s Fishing Day at Crooked Creek. For more information, call Candy at 535-2257.
