From Crystal Tyler, office manager:

Don’t forget to buy your tickets to our Masquerade Ball on May 6 at the Elks Lodge. We will have a fun night raising money for new computers for Club youth to use in the homework room, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) room and more. The fun kicks off at 7 p.m. and we look forward to seeing everyone dressed up and wearing masks. There are prizes for best-dressed woman and couple, silent auction items, appetizers and dancing. Call the Club at 535-2257 for tickets, to donate a silent auction item or for more information.

Summer job opportunities with the Boys and Girls Club are posted at the Lewistown Job Service. Summer Safari is filling up fast. Please call Crystal at the Club for enrollment availability for your child for the summer. Many fun activities, summer reading program, swimming and more.

From Eadie Schultz, fitness director:

Sports and Fitness headed outside for soccer, football 500, kickball and street hockey. Our younger kids make good use of our playground area and look forward to being outside once again. Hopefully our basketball courts will be up and ready soon, as interest is high to put the round balls in action. It is kids’ choice when we are inside, with all stations available for their rotations.

We put our new large TV to good use as home to WII sports, Madden football, Just Dance 3 (with a little Mario on occasion) and our group movie on Friday.

Air Hockey, bumper pool, foosball, pool, card games and Tenzi are dual activities while dodge ball and relays are fast-moving team events. Our blue doors are now decorated with “Bumble Bee” cartoons suggesting all kinds of things to “B” accomplished by all of our kids. Jump rope, hula-hoops, yoga balls, kinetic sand and tumbling on the mats keep our younger kids happy. Circle dodge ball and number cones have proven to be favorites. Occasionally, we add the Nintendo, iPods and DSes to add a bit more interest to our rotations. Looking forward to a busy spring both inside and outside, keeping sports and fitness with all our kids involved in Triple Play. Highlighting activities and fitness with the spotlight on sports.
