From Crystal Tyler, office manager:

Summer started with a bang and we are super excited to see all the smiling faces back at the Club. We have fun stuff planned all summer, so be sure to check the Club for weekly activity brochures and the master calendar. Information can also be found on the Boys and Girls Club of Lewistown Facebook page.

We have several new faces at the Club for the summer but we also are welcoming a new Tobacco Prevention Specialist/Teen Director/Volunteer Coordinator to the Club. Tim Painter joins our crew and will work with our teens and volunteers at the Club. We will have a meet and greet ice cream social during Teen Night on June 22 from 6-8 p.m., so stop by and say hi.

From Shila Fischer, Nature Room director:

My name is Shila Fischer and I have been at the Boys and Girls Club for a little over a year now. Most people know me as the friendly face that greets visitors as they enter the Club, however, these days I have a new title, Nature Director. I am extremely excited for this new adventure. This summer will be filled with lots of adventure and fun. As the theme of the room suggests, we will learn many fun and exciting things. This summer’s theme for the Nature Room is “Ocean.” We’ll learn about the deep blue and the creatures that live and survive in our planet’s vast water system. This summer will be a “Sea of Inspiration.”

From Cassi Miller, Summer Art director:

My name is Cassi Miller and I am the Summer Art director. I am home from college for the summer and I am very excited to spend my time at the Boys and Girls Club. This is my second summer as the Art Director. I can’t wait to explore the kids’ creative side. Throughout the summer, I plan to design crafts to express our children’s imagination.
