Festival of Trees

important for Boys and Girls Club

We had a wonderful Festival of Trees event in 2016. We are pleased to announce some impressive numbers: At this juncture with not all of the expenses calculated (as some are still being submitted), we are at a net income of $58,275. Our operational budget goal for the event was $59,000. We are not disappointed one bit, even with not making the financial goal; as the trees, event sponsors, raffles and silent auction items, were too impressive to feel dismayed. The volunteers for this event work impressively hard and with such a great jolly disposition that it was all a huge success. The Club continues to be diligent to close out the Back a Kid Campaign, as well as other budget items of the organization, on a strong note to finish out the 2016 year and begin the 2017 budget year. So, many thanks to the many wonderful participants of the Festival of Trees event and to the many who support the Club during the year.

In the event you are looking to give at your year’s end, feel free to call the Club - we have had many who have helped us at the end of this year in our Back a Kid Campaign and in helping our families during the holiday season. Contact Abby at 406-535-2257.

Continue to listen to KXLO-KLCM to hear the daily winners of the Countdown to Christmas Raffle that is sponsored by the Fergus Federal Credit Union and Besel Construction. Winners can also be found at the Boys and Girls Club of Lewistown Facebook page.

Yogo Inn supports

parent involvement

David Wigginton, his wife, Susanne, and the crew at the Yogo Inn support the many awesome parents through the “Yogo Inn Poolside Giveaway.” Parents throughout the year accumulate volunteer hours that they contribute at the Club. With those hours they earn chances for a drawing for poolside rooms at the Yogo Inn. Congratulations to the Douglass family and the Keeney family who are the third quarter winners of this fun prize. Thanks again, Yogo Inn.

Also, we are doing something new this year during the school’s winter break.  We will be accepting enrollments for the week of December 27th-December 30th for those families that need a place for their child/ren to go during that time.  There will be a fee for the week and paperwork to fill out.  Please call Crystal at the Club to get signed up or if you have questions.

From Tracy Huck,

education director:

Oh the weather outside is frightful

But the children are so delightful

And since we have a Club to go to,

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!

It doesn’t show signs of stopping,

And we’ve got some projects a hopping,

The voices are turned way down low,

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!
