Bradley Peter Stahl, 47, passed away on Nov. 18, 2021, in Billings, surrounded by family and loved ones. Brad was born Oct. 26, 1974, to Ken and Becky Stahl of Lewistown. Brad grew up at Flatwillow Ranch, where he was the first-born son and brother to Toby, Tamara, and Wes with whom he shared a special bond. He married the love of his life, Helen Wollman, on Oct. 11, 1997. To this union was born Sierra, Zane, Tia, and Kenyon. Kind, compassionate, generous, and ambitious are the words that described him best.

Brad was a devoted family man who dearly loved his wife and children. He was a man of quiet faith and deep convictions. Brad was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, but his greatest pleasure in life was following Zane and Tia to their many sporting events. He was so proud of all their accomplishments. Brad was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. He was an outdoorsman with a passion for adventure and exploring new places.

Brad was born a cowboy and loved a simple way of life. To him, there was nothing more satisfying than being on horseback with Zane, Tia, and Kenyon. Brad spent many busy days building a successful cowherd, farming, and working with his horses. He enjoyed branding in the springtime, shipping in the fall, and just working hard every single day. He loved animals and cared deeply for his cows and horses, making sure they were fed before he was. He always said, “Just put me behind a long string of cattle and I’ll be happy.”

Brad is survived by his wife Helen, children Zane and Tia, parents Ken and Becky (Walter) Stahl, brother Toby (Nan and Hayley) Stahl, sister Tamara (Noah) Walters, brother Wes (Malori) Stahl, and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly.

Brad, we will love and miss you forever. We are comforted that you are safe in the arms of Jesus and reunited with Sierra and Kenyon. Rest easy and ride hard across that big blue sky; our trails will cross again. Keep the faith and carry on.
