Vesper Chapter

The officers of Vesper Chapter met at the Masonic Temple in Hobson for their regular meeting, Wednesday, April 19. As the Worthy Matron was absent from the last meeting, she had to catch up. It seemed like it’d been a long time since she’d seen the officers and greeted them warmly.

The Worthy Patron conducted the business, having the secretary read the minutes, bills and communications. Seems all went well.

Still to be elected were the Associate Matron and Associate Patron. Tellers were appointed and balloting proceeded. Dorothy Brook and Jim McCollum were elected to those positions on the second ballot.

Friendship Night plans were discussed: the time is 8 p.m. Food was planned and entertainment discussed. Jeff and Jill Bolstad will return so hopefully, he could be asked.

We were saddened by the loss of Mary Pat Hagen, a very talented pianist. The Holgrens moved to Monroe, Washington to be closer to their family. Frank Dahlhausen had surgery; Karl Hertel is scheduled for surgery in May. Get well and prayers are with each member.

The flower march was taken. Closing was performed. Refreshments were thoroughly enjoyed along with delicious fruit pizza and candies. Many thanks to Rosalie Bruchez and Katy Longfellow for the delightful decorations and great refreshments. A very relaxing and enjoyable evening was had by all.
