Daughters of the American Revolution: Julia Hancock Chapter


The Daughters of the American Revolution: Julia Hancock Chapter attended Montana’s 114th State Conference April 27-29 in Bozeman, Montana. At the conference, the ladies of DAR: Julia Hancock Chapter, were honored by the National President General, Ann Turner Dillon, who attended and spoke at the conference.

The State theme was “Learn from the Past, Celebrate America, Hope for the Future.”

Members of Daughters of the American Revolution have ancestor(s) who were in the Revolutionary War. DAR supports patriotism, the Constitution, education, veterans, and conservation and citizenship.

Members Jessica Horan (Moore) received a $500 Montana Traveling scholarship; Karen Weinheimer (Lewistown) received a $500 Montana Nursing scholarship; and Tessa Sawyer (Bozeman) received the State Good Citizen award.
