CMMC Auxiliary honors new lifetime members

In a room decorated with linen tablecloths, beautiful tea services, and china cups and saucers, the Central Montana Medical Center Auxiliary honored seven new lifetime members at our annual tea, June 13, at the medical center.

Each year the Auxiliary honors members who have contributed to the success of our organization. This year we recognized seven ladies and thanked them for their dedication and service. Nell Cruikshank, June Griffin, Maxine Lechner, and Millie Noble were presented with certificates at the meeting by President Patty Neeman.  Betty Davidson and Guelda Johnson, who were unable to attend, will receive their certificates in the near future. Sadly, one of our honorees, Katie Hassler, has passed away and we will be presenting her certificate to her family.

After the Auxiliary Prayer, led by Cherie Quigley, the president called up her present officers; Rhonda Trask, Louise Langford, Cheryll Tuss, and Pat Mausehund. She presented each with a carnation and thanked them for their support for the past three years.

The president then introduced the new slate of officers: President Lisa Householder; First Vice-President Rhonda Trask; Second Vice-President Christine Todd; Co-Secretaries Cheryll Tuss and Louise Langford; and Treasurer Pat Mausehund. A carnation was given to each officer as she was installed, after which the Auxiliary Pledge was recited by all.

Linda Werdin presented Patty Neeman with a whimsical potted plant depicting the three years she has led the auxiliary, and conveyed the members’ gratitude and thanks.

During the tea, Jerry Carpenter, wearing a pair of Katie Hassler’s purple gloves, entertained the group with an oldster’s version of “My Favorite Things.”

Janelle Wichman won the pass-it-on-plate, brought by Jennifer Moody, last month’s winner.

At the tea’s close, everyone received a lovely geranium plant, gifted by Nell Cruikshank.

The Tea Committee was comprised of Linda Werdin, Barb Janicek, Betty Yaeger, Jerry Carpenter, Donna Shafer and Cheryll Tuss.

The next meeting of the CMMC Auxiliary is scheduled for Sept. 12 .
