Cooley Arena support

Members of the Sheriff’s Posse and other interested individuals accept a check for $3,550 given in November, 1987, by the Central Montana Quarterhorse Club. The club’s donation was to help finish the Cooley Arena restrooms. Shown accepting the donation are (from left) Gene Durbin of Durbin Construction, who had done much of the concrete work on the structure, Posse member Gene Meier, Quarterhorse Club member Stacey Vestal and Fair Board member Dave McClure. This photo ran in the Nov. 11, 1987 edition of the News-Argus.
