With schools in Lewistown scheduled to start on Thursday, Aug. 24, it is time for students to enjoy one last fun day before hitting the books – the Devin Moe Memorial Golf Tournament at Pine Meadows Golf Course. The tournament has been held each year on the day before schools starts, and this year is no exception.

On Wednesday, Aug. 23, kids between the ages of 4-18 are welcome to come to Pine Meadows for a round of golf. There is a small entry fee.

Kids from 14-18 will start their tournament at 9 a.m., while ages 4-13 will start at 10 a.m.

Following the tournament there is a free burger lunch at around noon for players and scorekeepers. Adult scorekeepers are needed for the tournament.

Medals will be awarded for first, second and third places in each age division. Please bring your own clubs if you have them. Golfers are also urged to sign up in the pro shop at Pine Meadows as soon as possible.

The tournament is a benefit for the local junior golfers. Call 538-7075 for more information.
