Donna Belinda Edmonds Sprouse

Donna Belinda Edmonds Sprouse, 66, of Lewistown, after being diagnosed with acute leukemia, went home Sunday morning, Sept. 17, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born June 28, 1951 in Asheville, North Carolina, the daughter of John and Margaret (Rice) Edmonds. She received her education in Weaverville, graduating from North Buncombe High School. She then worked as a secretary for local businesses in Weaverville until her marriage to Bill Sprouse on Dec. 1, 1972. They made their home in North Carolina until moving to Great Falls, Montana in 1977, where they operated a business selling Buck Stoves. They returned to North Carolina in 1981 to the Weaverville area, and she began a career in healthcare as a certified nurse’s assistant. They returned to Montana in 1992, settling in Lewistown where they started the Bread of Life Baptist Church.

Donna loved church, reading her Bible, singing, playing the piano and teaching her Sunday school class. She enjoyed time with her family, cooking, crocheting and hunting and fishing with her husband. She was a wonderful caregiver and devoted her entire life to nurture, care and love others selflessly.
