Dorothy Lee Sutton, 82, of Great Falls, Montana, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 of natural causes. A Memorial Service at Croxford Funeral Home will be held at a later date.

Dorothy was born on July 16, 1937 in Lewistown to parents Marion Stewart Russell and Florence Turner Kilgore. In 1957 she married Thomas Wilson Sutton III in Great Falls. Together they had two sons and one daughter during the beautiful 17 years they shared.

Dorothy spent many years working as a housekeeper at Benefis Health Center where she retired from in 2002. In her free time she enjoyed crochet, putting together puzzles, working in the flower garden, drawing, and painting. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Her life amongst us will be missed.

Dorothy is survived by her sons Thomas Sutton IV and Timothy Sutton; daughter Tammy Thomason; sisters Jeanie Kolste of Manhattan, Montana, Linda Enslow of Nampa, Idaho, Patty Thompson of Vancouver, Washington; and brothers Robert McNeil of Lewistown, and Ronald Russell of Highwood, Montana.

Additional survivors include grandchildren Savanah Hanson, Carissa Jean Mason, Sydnee Thomason, Shelby Thomason, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her sisters, Judy Audette and Joan Wood, and by her brother Roy Russell.

Please join family and friends at her “Celebration of Life” on Aug. 2 at Frank Day Park in Lewistown. They are having a potluck lunch. Chicken and chicken sandwiches will be provided. If you would like to contribute, please bring a salad or something to complement these items.
