It is estimated 25 structures have been destroyed by the West Wind Fire, according to a press release from the Fergus County Sheriff's Office. This includes grain elevators, bridges, and homes.

Crews are still actively fighting the fire, which has reportedly been held at the Judith River.

The Sheriff's Office expects to release the community of Denton and surrounding areas from evacuation status by noon today, but reminds people to be cautious.

"We encourage the community to not let its guard down as we expect high winds again today," the release stated.

Only essential travel through the community will be allowed, as to not hinder firefighters' efforts. Law enforcement will be conducting security in the Denton Community.

Highway 81  west of Denton is closed due to a bridge being burned yesterday. The south side of Highway 81 is still without power this morning.

No deaths or injuries have been reported and Sheriff Rick Vaughn has expressed his gratitude for the community and those helping fight the fire.

"At this time, Sheirff Vaughn would like to stress the fact that there was no serious injuires or loss of life during this unprecedented event," the press release noted. "Sheriff Vaughn would like to thank the community and emergency services from across Montana for doing what Montanans do when their neighbors are having a bad day."
