Fergus County Fair Board to hold regular meeting

The regular monthly meeting of the Fergus County Fair Board will be held at 5:30 p.m., Jan. 17, in the lobby of the Trade Center. Items on the agenda include rail extensions for ends of grandstands seating; policies and procedures (dogs, riding program, grass preservation, enforcement); museum grant applications; member nominations for the Entertainment Committee; and swipe cards for pavilion.

This meeting is open to the public yet please be advised of the following:

• Instructions to the Public: Any non-agenda comments for the Board will be heard during Open Public Participation. Please limit your comments to assure all have time to speak and if possible, provide written information on your discussion. If a group is here for comments on a particular non-agenda item, please appoint a spokesman to present on behalf of the group. The Chair, if deemed necessary, may limit the time of comment.

• Public Participation on Action Items: Public comments will be allowed once there is a motion and second for that item on the floor. Again please try and limit your comments and if possible, provide written information on your discussion.
