Fergus Democrats plan bi-annual county convention

Fergus County Democrats will meet this evening, April 26, for their bi-annual convention to elect officers and committee persons to the county central committee.

The convention will begin at 6 p.m. in the upstairs room of the Lewistown Library. All Democrats are invited to attend and participate. The meeting is expected to last about an hour.

The people elected to leadership positions on the central committee will represent Democrats at the state party level by attending conventions, etc, according to Ron Moody, the outgoing chair of the committee.

This team also makes things happen here locally in Fergus County to keep the progressive flame alive, according to Moody.
