Fergus JV girls finish third at home invitational

The Fergus junior varsity girls’ cross-country team had a solid performance at the FHS home meet on Friday, Sept. 16. Fergus finished first behind Billings Senior and Hardin. Two Hardin girls were the top finishers in the event, while Billings Senior took the next 10 positions.  Only the top five finishers for each team contribute to the team score.
Team scores: Billings Senior 25, Hardin 67, Fergus 128, Columbus 188, Havre 235, Custer County 249. No team scores: Billings Central, Laurel, Roundup and Billings Skyview.

Fergus boys seventh at home meet
At the same meet, the Fergus junior varsity team finished in seventh place. The Billings Skyview team topped the junior varsity competition with 22 points, finishing 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th for team points. Billings Senior was second.
Team scores: Skyview 22, Senior 54, Joliet 111, Havre 164, Hardin 167, Laurel 185, Fergus 216, Billings Central 319. No team scores: Columbus, Fromberg, Sidney.
