According to Jacklynn Barber, Judith Gap’s FFA is off to a great start this school year. The FFA elected all their new officers for this year, with Reilly Allik as chapter president, Kinsey Warner as vice president, Sierra Stahl as secretary, Jacklynn Barber as treasurer, Laini Farnsley as reporter and Walker Lee as sentinel.

So far this year, FFA went to the DLC (District Leadership Conference) where they learned about what FFA is and what it does for youth. They had fall districts in Hobson with range and livestock competitions.

Also this year FFA will send its juniors and seniors to the National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana in late October.

FFA also did a few things over the summer such as Montana Range Days in Red Lodge and a livestock competition at the Great Falls Fair. The group said they’re “super excited” for all the things to come this year. They enjoy competing.

The FFA youth extend a big thank you to their advisor, Jeff Holmes, who organized all this and cheers them on throughout the year. Keep reading FFA’s newsletters to stay up on all FFA’s happenings.
