Junior class parents are working to collect donations and make preparations for this year’s After-Prom Party. The Central Montana community has long supported this much-anticipated post Prom event that promises kids a safe night filled with fun activities and fantastic prizes that are often useful as well as entertaining.

The junior class students and their parents would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the businesses and individuals who have contributed to this year’s party. Parents, local businesses and community organizations like the Central Montana Jaycees, the Central Montana Foundation and the Central Montana Medical Center Foundation support this much-anticipated event each year. All of this consistently great community support gives Prom goers a fun, safe and alcohol-free environment where students are able to socialize, play games, and win some pretty amazing prizes.

The Fergus High School prom will be held on Saturday, April 1 from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. in the Fergus High School gymnasium. This year’s prom theme is “Wonderland.”

Valet parking will be provided at the school, courtesy of the junior class parents. A local professional photographer will be available on site at the prom for those who would like to have professional photos taken.

The after-prom party starts at 12:30 a.m. at the Snowy Lanes Bowling Alley and concludes at 3:30 a.m. Students must arrive to the after-prom party no later than 1 a.m. All students must check in upon arrival and must check out if they leave prior to the 3:30 a.m. conclusion. Parents or guardians will be notified if their student leaves early. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco will not be tolerated.

The after-prom party is open to all FHS junior and senior students and their dates (including out of town guests). Guests must have a pre-approved guest pass for admittance to the prom and after-prom party. Guest passes can be obtained at the FHS office. Junior and senior class students are not required to attend the prom to in order to attend the after-prom party. All of the FHS junior and senior students are welcome and encouraged to participate.

This event could not happen without the tremendous generosity of the Central Montana community. Parents, individuals, community organizations and local businesses support this fun filled party with cash donations, gift certificates and merchandise prizes. All cash donations are used to purchase supplies and prizes with efforts made to purchase locally whenever possible. The parents of the junior class are excited
