Find other funding; leave State Parks alone

Dear Editor,
I just listened to a Bullock ad on how fishing and hiking, etc., is “so important” to him. It made me think of how the Bullock administration is talking of closing Ackley Lake and several other state parks because they don’t have the money to keep them open. Yet they seem to have the money to build multi-million dollar Interpretive Centers that will probably only serve a few tourists each year.
I have four vehicles that I pay an extra $6 per year for, for these State Parks. I imagine there are thousands more that pay the same State Park fee to keep these parks open.
Governor Bullock, fishing and hiking is important to us too. Leave our State Parks alone and find another way to fund your multi-million dollar Interpretative Centers.
