Freda Rector Stuart

Freda Rector Stuart, 99, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at the Central Montana Medical Center in Lewistown.
Freda was born Jan. 28, 1917 in Moccasin, Mont.; the fifth of 13 children born to Verna and Charles Fred Rector. She attended Moccasin School and graduated in 1935 as Valedictorian. She then attended Kinman Business University in Spokane.
In 1943, Freda moved to Vallejo, Calif., and in 1949 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Ray Stuart, U.S.N. In 1951, they moved to Grants Pass, Ore. Her husband passed away in 1993 and in 1997 she returned to Billings, until 2005 when she moved to Lewistown.
Freda enjoyed her last two years with her extended family at Caslen Assisted Living.
Freda is survived by a brother, Lynn (Charlotte) Rector in Lewistown, and many nieces and nephews.
At her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Family memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorials in Freda’s honor may be made to CMMC Hospice, Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children in Spokane, or a charity of your choice.
