Geneva Neudick Kuchynka

Geneva Neudick Kuchynka, 95, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at Central Montana Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lewistown.

She was born Jan. 1, 1921 to George and Bertha Huff in Moore. She attended school in Moore and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. On May 23, 1941 she married Ervin Neudick and they ranched southeast of Moore until his death in 1974. In 1977, she married Arnold Kuchynka and they lived in Lewistown. Arnold preceded her in death in 1992.

Geneva was very active during her life enjoying music, dancing, playing the piano and organ, singing in the church choir, crocheting and reading. She was a member of the Moore Women’s Club, Lewistown Senior Citizen’s Club and the United Methodist Church.

Also preceding her in death are her parents; daughter, Diana Achten; granddaughter, Nancy Neudick; daughter-in-law, Mary Neudick; and brother, George Huff. She is survived by her sons, Jack (Cherie) Neudick of Lewistown and Bill Neudick of Deadwood, S.D.; daughters, Carol (Darold) Heck, Ilene Neudick (Ron Martin), both of Billings; and son-in-law, Jerry Achten of Billings. She also has 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, brother, Tom Huff and sister, June Walling.

Viewing will be at the Creel Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, Sept. 11, from 5-7 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 12, from 9-11 a.m. A graveside ceremony for Geneva will be held at the Moore Cemetery on Monday, Sept. 12, at 12 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Moore Women’s Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Geneva’s memory may be sent to the Moore Endowment Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice.

We, her children, will always be grateful for her love and support, for always being there for us. She was a good mom.
