Georgia Dell Lodders

Georgia Dell Lodders passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Anaconda Community Hospital.

She was born in Lewistown, Montana on Aug. 3, 1927, and graduated from Fergus High School, with honors in 1945.

Georgia attended the University of Montana where she met Denny Lodders. They were married in 1947 and started one of the earliest ski areas in Montana, Diamond Mountain, near Missoula.

They lived in Washington, D.C., before settling in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where Georgia lived 46 years.

After retiring from Colorado Ski Country, Georgia moved near her daughter, Linda, in Anaconda in 2000.

Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Denny, and sister Jane Worsdell. She is survived by her sister, Verda Mae Horvath; children Ron Lodders (Carla), Linda Lodders, Marty York (Randy), and Doug Lodders; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
