The Central Montana Head Start Board of Directors would like to recognize Executive Director Carra Godbey for her recent election as President of the Montana State Head Start Association. The association’s Mission, which states: “The Montana Head Start Association brings together families, staff, directors and friends of all Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Montana, to provide leadership, education, information and advocacy on behalf of young children, pregnant women, and families throughout Montana,” closely correlates with the beliefs and services provided by Central Montana Head Start.

Godbey has prior years of serving as a staff representative to the board and she also serves as the Director Representative to the Region VIII Head Start Association Board. In the past year, Godbey has also been an active member of Recharge Our Community and is currently participating in the Leadership Central Montana provided through the Snowy Mountain Development Corporation.
