Homeschool students present Christmas music celebration

Tuesday evening, Dec. 20th, family and friends crowded into Lewistown’s Central Baptist Church’s auditorium to listen to a Christmas musical celebration presented by 60-plus students from the Central Montana Home School Association.

Directed by Mary Kepler and accompanied by Pat Dagenhart and MeriEsther Moring, primary, elementary, middle and high school student-aged groups presented a variety of holiday songs. Having practiced since mid-October, all students joined together to sing "Silent Night" while utilizing sign language.

The students’ presentation concluded with all in attendance singing a rousing comical rendition of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas” (but, we won’t go until we get our mashed potatoes!).

In the following days participating students brought their Christmas cheer to residents of New Horizons, Eagles Manor, and Central Montana Medical Center's nursing home.
