Pre-Fair Interview Day was the beginning of the Central Montana Fair for 4-H Members. Photographs, Wood Work, Welding, Art Work, Cowboy Poetry, Robotics – just to name a few – were judged on July 19. Members also complete an interview for all animal projects, explaining their feed records, health care expenses, facilities, plus the challenges and successes of their project to the judge. The interview judging method allows members to practice their communication skills and gives them the opportunity to get feedback and advice from the judge. Make sure to visit the second floor of the Ag Building (next to the Trade Center), during the Central Montana Fair to admire the members’ exhibits.
