Jeanette Tilzey, 78, of Moore, passed away on July 27, 2022.

Jeanette was born on Sept. 6, 1943, in Lewistown, the daughter of Ray and Regina Wichman. She grew up on the family farm north of Moore and graduated from Moore High School in 1961. On Sept. 21, 1962, she married her high school sweetheart, Ron Tilzey, in Moore. In their 59 years of marriage, they welcomed six children, 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Family was everything to her.

She was employed at Central Montana Medical Center for 27 years and worked as a CNA and later as a ward clerk. She was a member of St. Mathias Church and Moore Modern Matrons.

She liked to bake for her family, gardening, playing cards, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and attending her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren’s sporting and school events. She will be remembered for her kind personality and loving spirit.

Jeanette is survived by her spouse, Ronald Tilzey; children, Connie Olsen (Todd), Ron Tilzey (Tammy), Dennis Tilzey (BaLinda), Tom Tilzey (Jennifer), Sara Peterson (Todd), and Mike Tilzey (Amber); grandchildren, Jodi Cundiff (Travis), Jeremy Olsen (Jessi), Kala Jewett (Matt), Derek Tilzey, Taylor Grady (Trevor), Vanessa Tilzey, Kylee and Bree Peterson, Aidan, Mason, and Sadee Tilzey, Shaina Cecrle, Ashlynn Rodgers, and Adrian Wilson; great-grandchildren, Adysen and Ben Cundiff, Lucas, Rilee and Jade Olsen, and Dana Tilzey; siblings, Joan Flesch and Teresa (Tom) Stokes; brothers-in-law, Gary Nessan, Don Lippman, and George Geraets; and sisters-in-law, Patty Wichman, Barb Wichman, and Lou Tilzey. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Regina Wichman; sisters, Betty Dexter and Donna Nessan; and brothers, Kenneth and Ron Wichman.

Parish Vigil Service will be held at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Lewistown on Sunday, July 31, at 7 p.m. with viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Leo’s Catholic Church on Monday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. Right of Committal to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CMMC or St. Mathias Church.
