Mark your calendars and join us on two free, summer adventures in June hosted by the U.S. Forest Service Judith Musselshell Ranger District.

Celebrate “National Get Outdoors Day” on Saturday, June 10, from 2-4 p.m., by learning all about geocaching, tips and tricks for successful geocache experiences, and you’ll get to practice your new skills with the geocaches already established at the spot. The geocache event will be at Jellison Place Trailhead west of Judith Gap. Everyone is welcome.

Later in June, be sure to join us for a wildflower hike on Saturday, June 24, at Crystal Lake Campground. While on this guided tour around the lake, you’ll learn about our native flora and fauna in the area. The hike around the lake is about 1.75 miles of mostly flat terrain. To join, meet at Crystal Lake Campground at 1 p.m., and Nicole Jenks, administrative support clerk, will lead you around the lake to enjoy wildflowers. Everyone is welcome to join the hike.

If you have questions about either event, call Nicole at the Musselshell Ranger Station at (406) 632-4391.
