The Judith Gap American Legion Auxiliary Unit 70 is proud to announce the selection of their American Legion Auxiliary Girls State delegate. Jacklynn Barber has been chosen to attend the Montana Girls State program June 11–17 in Helena.

Girls attending Girls State just completed their junior year of high school. Girls State develops leadership skills, and educates delegates about our system of both state and national government. They will tour the state capitol and visit the Senate and Representatives chambers while in Helena.

Jacklynn Barber lives with her grandparents, Dick and Joleen Perry of Judith Gap. Her parents Elizabeth and Craig Barber and siblings live in Bozeman. Jacklynn loves FFA and all things dealing with agriculture. She is undecided on what she plans to do after graduation, but says she will make a decision soon.
