Kenneth “Pat” Youngbauer

 

Kenneth “Pat” Youngbauer was born in Miles City, Montana on Jan. 27, 1927. He spent his early years in Crow Rock, Montana. Pat was the youngest of four boys. All of the boys served their country in WWII and returned home safely. Pat served in the Army in France and Germany from 1945 to 1948.

In 1951, he married his sweetheart, Joan Frass, of Sidney, Montana. Together they had three children. Pat proudly worked for the Milwaukee Railroad for 30 years. His promotion to division lineman brought him and his family to Lewistown in 1973. During his retirement, he was very active in the Lewistown community with Fergus Post 16, American Legion Honor Guard and Lewistown Youth Softball.

Kenneth “Pat” Youngbauer, 90, passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, at the CMMC Hospice House in Lewistown.

Pat is survived by his wife, Joan; three children, Bill, Patti and Peter Youngbauer; three grandchildren, Kelli, Nicole and Scott Youngbauer; and two great-grandchildren, Rowan and Bridger Carlson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys and father, Joe; brothers, Ray, John, and Gale; and grandson, Kyle Youngbauer.

Services will be announced at a later date; cremation has taken place. Donations can be made to the CMMC Hospice House.
