Lewistown Fire-Rescue

Lewistown Fire Rescue was dispatched to the following calls:

 

Sept. 10

• Public Assistance Call, 1300 hours: firefighters responded to a residential facility to replace smoke alarm batteries. Fire personnel returned to station.

• Medical Call, 1734 hours: dispatched to the scene of a male down in a correctional facility. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

Sept. 11

• Medical Call, 1611 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female experiencing an asthma attack. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

 

Sept. 13

• Medical Call, 0140 hours: dispatched to the scene of an incoherent feverish male. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Medical Call, 1059 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female experiencing a diabetic emergency. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Medical Call, 1131 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female experiencing an inability to move her leg. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Fire Call, 1913 hours: dispatched to the scene of a possible unauthorized open burn during stage II fire restrictions. Firefighter responded to the scene and found an individual burning branches from his shrubs in a portable barbecue. Fire personnel informed the resident of the stage II fire restrictions and he extinguished his fire.

 

Sept. 14

• Medical Call, 0657 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female experiencing a severe headache and requesting transport to the hospital. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Fire Call, 0938 hours: dispatched to the scene of the smell of smoke in a commercial building. Firefighter responded to the scene and found a fluorescent fixture with malfunctioning ballasts. Fire personnel informed the occupants on the problem and the fixture was left out of service. Fire personnel returned to station.

• Medical Call, 1700 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female with a possible medication overdose. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.
