Lewistown Fire-Rescue

Lewistown Fire Rescue was dispatched to the following calls:

 

Aug. 14

• Fire Call, 1853 hours: dispatched to the scene of smoke near a residential area. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene to administer aid. Upon investigation, no smoke was found in the area. Fire personnel returned to quarters.

• Fire Call, 2119 hours: dispatched to the scene of an unauthorized open burn. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Upon investigation, it was determined that several youths had ignited cardboard on a porch. The youths were advised of the city burn policy and consequences of property damage. Fire personnel returned to quarters.

• Medical Call, 2242 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female experiencing chest pain. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel returned to station.

 

Aug. 15

• Public Service Call, 0004 hours: dispatched to the scene of a tree that has fallen onto a street, blocking traffic. Firefighters responded to the scene and administered aid. The tree was cut and moved. Fire personnel returned to quarters.

• Hazardous Materials Call, 1336 hours: dispatched to the scene of a non-injury two motor vehicle accident. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered. Upon investigation, it was determined that coolant was leaking from one vehicle. Firefighters cleaned up the coolant before returning to quarters.

 

Aug. 16

• Medical Call, 1406 hours: dispatched to the scene of a male experiencing chest pain and difficulty breathing. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist in packaging and loading patient for transport before returning to quarters.

• Medical Call, 2106 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female victim of assault. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to quarters.

 

Aug. 17

• Medical Call, 0009 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female experiencing chest pain. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

 

Aug. 18

• Medical Call, 0653 hours: dispatched to the scene of a male who had fallen with unknown injuries. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Medical Call, 1614 hours: dispatched to the scene of a male who lost consciousness. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

 

Aug. 19

• Medical Call, 0332 hours: dispatched to the scene of a male who had fallen down stairs with unknown injuries. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Firefighters found the patient with a large laceration on his left arm. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Medical Call, 0907 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female who had fallen with a possible hip injury. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel cleared the scene en route to a second medical call.

• Medical Call, 0923 hours: dispatched to the scene of a male experiencing abdominal pain. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

 

Aug. 20

• Medical Call, 0316 hours: dispatched to the scene of a female experiencing severe head pain. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Medical Call, 0512 hours: dispatched to the scene of a male who had fallen with unknown injures. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Medical Call, 1248 hours: dispatched to the scene of an unresponsive male who is breathing. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Patient care was turned over to CMMC ambulance crew upon their arrival. Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with patient care before returning to station.

• Fire Call, 1856 hours: dispatched to the scene of a fire-alarm system activation at a residential care facility. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Upon investigation, it was determined that a resident had activated a pull station. Fire personnel reset the pull station and alarm system before returning to quarters.

• Fire Call, 2148 hours: dispatched to the scene of an unauthorized open burn. Firefighter/EMTs responded to the scene and administered aid. Upon investigation, it was determined that a landowner was burning unauthorized materials. Firefighters extinguished the fire. Fire personnel returned to quarters.
