Moore Community Endowment Fund update

From 2014 to 2017, due to the generosity and gift-giving of Moore area supporters and yearly grants from the Central Montana Foundation, the fund was able to support and fund the following nonprofits with projects. Organizations receiving grants totaling $23,120 from the Moore Community Endowment Fund are:

Moore Rural Fire Department; Town of Moore; Moore Cemetery Association; Moore School (Children’s Theater, BPA students to national conventions, tumbling mats, music department, scientific computers – science department, Girls State student trips, FFA students to national convention, reading programs); Blessing in a Backpack for kids on weekends; Moore Library; Winnett Lions Club with the purchase of a vision testing machine for Moore students; Moore Booster Club; and a Moore Community Historical Grant – putting original newspapers on the internet.

Since the founding of Moore Endowment in 1998, with local fundraising, memorials and grants from Central Montana Foundation, a total of over $80,000 has been invested with CMF. The MCEF can only use the interest earned on the funds to help with local projects and needs at nonprofit organizations. The Endowment Board wishes to deeply thank everyone for their gifts, memorials and donations that helped the fund grow, and be able to assist in needed help in the Moore Community.
