Grass Range Methodist Church to hold prime rib dinner


Treat yourself to a prime rib dinner at the Grass Range Methodist Church on Sunday, Nov. 5, with serving from 12 p.m. (noon) to 2 p.m. This delicious slice of beef will be served with baked potato, tossed salad, French bread, relish tray goodies, and all topped off with your choice of delicious pie. Come on out and enjoy this tasty meal with your friends and neighbors.

Profits from this meal will be used to support our church school program. Be sure to sign up for the door prize.


Library to observe Veterans’ Day


In observance of Veterans’ Day, the library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10. Regular hours will resume on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.


Library Saturday story time will be this morning


Story time for babies, toddlers and preschool kiddos is held weekly on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Saturday story time is this week on Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m. Please remember the Saturday story time is held on the last Saturday of each month.


Get “off the hook” in November


On Nov. 3, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Nov. 4 from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., a three-part session on the biblical approach to living “Off the Hook” – overcoming co-dependency and embracing freedom – will be offered. Gaffers entertain for Saturday dance


The Groovy Gaffers will provide the music for today’s afternoon dance. The band features Laurie Lohrer on vocals, and Dave Robertson and Don and Barb Engle on guitars and vocals.

The dance hall is located at the corner of Third Avenue South and Barnes Street. The dance goes from 2-4 p.m. Dancers of all ages are welcome.

There will be a coffee/cookie break at 3 p.m. There is a small admission fee.


TBID considers assistance requests


The next Lewistown Tourism Business Improvement District meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 11 a.m. in Snowy Mountain Development Corporation’s conference room. Agenda items include assistance requests from Walleyes Unlimited, Backcountry Horsemen and Fergus High School, News-Argus proposal, and Montana Co-op opportunities.

This meeting is open to the public.


Get your All Hallow’s pet picture today


Tractor Supply Company invites customers to attend a Halloween pet photography event at its Lewistown store. The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

A local photographer will be onsite shooting Halloween-themed photos of customers’ four-legged family members and the first 25 customers who get their photo taken will also receive a free magnetic picture frame.
