Lewistown Municipal
Airport Board to meet Oct. 5

Lewistown Municipal Airport Board will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 3 p.m. in the Airport Terminal Meeting Room. Items to discuss include the Capital Improvement Plan 2017-2023, walking trails, bus barn, ADO meeting for Oct. 26 and 27, and the radio tower.
This meeting is open to the public. The next board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 3 p.m.

Bass tournament at Hell
Creek rescheduled for October

The Eastern Montana Bass Association tournament that was scheduled for Sept. 24-25 on Fort Peck Reservoir was changed due to heavy wind and rain on the date of the event. The rescheduled date for the tournament, based out of Hell Creek Marina, is Oct. 15-16.

Breaks bighorn sheep
conservation presentation

The Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge Community Working Group will meet on Thursday, Oct. 6 in Jordan at the Garfield County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join us for a presentation on Missouri Breaks bighorn sheep conservation and a review of our 2016-17 work plan, followed by reports from our sage-grouse and bison committees.

Fergus County Pavilion
Committee meets Oct. 4

A meeting of the Fergus County Pavilion Committee will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, in the Trade Center. Items to be discussed include electing chairman and secretary, the fee schedule for next year, dust issues and the cleanup of foreign material.
This meeting is open to the public.

DRGC to host Buckington Memorial trap shoot

The Denton Rod and Gun Club will host the Mark Buckington Memorial Trap Shoot on Saturday, Oct. 8. Practice will start at 11 a.m. with the shoot at 12 p.m. Trap shoot and pitch play with two traps this year (less waiting; more shooting.) Swing in October
with the Groovy Gaffers

The Groovy Gaffers will provide the music for the Saturday afternoon dance on Oct. 1. The band features Laurie Lohrer on vocals, and Dave Robertson, Don Engle and Barb Engle on guitars and vocals. The dance goes from 2 to 4 p.m. with a short coffee cookie break at 3 p.m.
If you enjoy dancing to good country music, come and join in the fun. Dancers of all ages are welcome. The club building is located at the corner of Third Avenue South and Barnes St. There is a small admission fee.
