Commissioners look at truck bids and Fair Board resolution Friday

The Board of Fergus County commissioners meets Friday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. in the commissioners’ office on the second floor of the courthouse. Items on the agenda include a bid opening for a 350 Super Duty weed truck, announcements of personnel openings, and possible action on the truck bid and on a resolution redefining duties of the Fair Board. The meeting is open to the public.

Swing your partner every Thursday

Winter square dancing continues this Thursday, Feb. 7, 7 - 9

p. m., at the Senior Dance Hall, corner of Third and Barnes in Lewistown. Dances continue weekly on Thursday evenings, and will include instruction for new dancers. Dress is casual. No prior square dance experience required. Dancing is open to singles, couples and teens. There is a small admission fee, per person. Come join us.

Help improve Lewistown tourism at the next meeting

The next TBID meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. in Snowy Mountain Development Corporation’s conference room (613 N.E. Main St. in Lewistown). Items to be discussed include CM Wrestling Club-Little Guy State Wrestling Tournament, National Park (Yellowstone/Glacier) lead generation program, marketing manager’s report, and Google adwords proposal. Public comment will then be heard. The meeting is open to the public.

Heart of Montana Youth Choir concert is Feb. 12

The Heart of Montana Youth Choir is putting on a concert Tuesday, Feb 12 from 6:30 to 7 p.m. at St. Leo’s Catholic Church. According to Heart of Montana Youth Choir Director Rachael Grensten, the fun-filled show will feature many solos. The event is free to attend.
