Painting the place blue

The Fergus High School fieldhouse received a new look when a crew of Golden Eagle fans painted the lower walls on both ends of the Fieldhouse blue during a painting party Monday evening. Steve Trafton thought the Fieldhouse needed more color so he and his son, Kyle, came up with the idea of painting the lower portion of the walls blue instead of the light yellow the walls were. The Golden Eagle Booster Club bought the paint, and private donations paid for the rest of the equipment needed to do the painting. All of the painters, including several high school students, were volunteers from the community.
