The following report is taken from information provided by the Lewistown Police Department and does not represent the total scope of police activity. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

 

Dec. 2

• At 9:00 a.m. a person reported two cars on his property had been broken into at some point. The person came to the Lewistown Police Department to retrieve property that had been located through an arrest.

• At 10:28 a.m. the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office relayed information the RR crossing south of Eddies Corner was damaged.

• At 10:32 a.m. a person reported a neighbor had a bunch of turkeys and chickens on pallets covered by a tarp. The Fergus County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

• At 1:08 p.m. a 911 caller reported a pedestrian vs. vehicle hit and run accident. Officers and medical responded. The patient was transported to CMMC. The offending vehicle was located and the driver was cited.

• At 1:52 p.m. a person reported a neighbor appeared to be passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Officers responded and arrested a male for DUI and transported him to the Fergus County Sheriff’s detention center.

• At 4:05 p.m. a 911 caller requested medical for a male passed out at the bottom of a set of stairs. Officers responded and arrested a male for disorderly conduct and transported him to the Fergus County Sheriff’s detention center.

• At 6:35 p.m. a 911 caller requested officers speak with a neighbor who was shooting a pellet gun at her house. Officers responded and spoke to a male who stated the gun was just an air gun, not loaded, and he was using it to scare cats away. Officers advised the male it was a prohibited activity. 

 

Dec. 3

• At 6:24 p.m. a 911 call was received from a juvenile who said he didn’t know where his mom was. Officers responded.

• At 10:08 p.m. a person in the lobby reported a white extended cab pickup was following her. 

• At 11:46 p.m. a 911 caller reported a male had been at her door saying he was law enforcement looking for a fugitive. The Fergus County Sheriff’s Office was advised and they stated they didn’t have any deputies in that area. 

 

Dec. 4

• At 1:26 p.m. a caller requested assistance with getting the keys from an employee she had to let go. 

• At 6:13 p.m. Wheatland County reported an individual lost in the area of Buffalo Creek. The Judith Basin County Office deputy was advised. At 8:12 p.m. the male was located. 

 

Dec. 6

• At 12:56 p.m. a person reported his vehicle had been stolen. The Fergus County Sheriff’s Office located the van in the ditch on Upper Spring Creek.

• At 1:14 p.m. a 911 caller reported two individuals broke a window at his house. The information was relayed to the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office. 

• At 4:10 p.m. a person reported a suspicious vehicle speeding. When she went by the vehicle, the guy hid. Officers were advised. 

 

Dec. 7

• At 7:38 a.m. the Fergus County Sheriff’s Office reported four horses were in a pasture in town. Officers and the brand inspector responded. 

• At 9:49 p.m. a person came in the lobby saying we needed to take care of the noise from his neighbors. Officer spoke to the person in the lobby. 

• At 10:11 p.m. a 911 caller requested officers respond, saying his neighbors were being loud again. Officers responded.  

• At 10:49 p.m. a 911 caller requested medical assistance for a female in Florida. Law Enforcement in Florida was notified.
