The following report is taken from information provided by the Lewistown Police Department and does not represent the total scope of police activity. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

July 22
• At 7:31 a.m. a 911 caller said a female was following and taking photos of her. An officer spoke to the person.
• At 4:38 p.m. a person wanted to know if it was illegal to send money to Turkey. The person said he had a friend there and wanted to send him money. An officer spoke to the person.
• At 8:49 p.m. a 911 caller reported her friend had been kidnapped. The caller stated she was receiving text messages from whoever had the female that they were going to harm her. Officers made contact with the caller, she stated she was fine; she was just sitting at the park and sent the messages herself.
• At 10:38 p.m. a 911 caller reported her car was stolen. Officers responded. At 11:13 p.m. the 911 caller said her boyfriend had driven the car to the area of 13th and Boulevard. An officer located the vehicle at 12th and Boulevard.

July 23
• At 3:23 a.m. a person reported he just broke up with his girl friend and then watched her put a nail in his tire. Officer responded.
• At 3:55 p.m. a manager reported a shoplifter. Officers responded.

July 24
• At 8:53 a.m. a code compliance officer gave a verbal warning about parking a vehicle the wrong way on the street.
• At 2:35 p.m. a person reported a theft. Officers responded and a female was issued a citation for theft and obstructing.
• At 6:11 p.m. a person reported a male smoking something out of a pipe sitting right on 1st Ave S. Officers responded and a citation was issued.

July 25
• At 3:15 p.m. a 911 caller reported an intoxicated male on their balcony. No further information was given. Upon officer arrival, the caller wouldn’t answer the door.
• At 8:11 p.m. a person said her husband was intoxicated and being belligerent. Officers responded and the male was transported to the Fergus County Sheriff’s detention facility.

July 26
• At 4:19 a.m. four juveniles were stopped for curfew violation.
• At 6:08 a.m. an officer removed yard sale signs from some historic light posts.

July 27
• At 3:51 a.m. a 911 caller threatened suicide. Officers responded and the caller voluntarily went to CMMC for psychological evaluation.
• At 9:48 a.m. a person said someone had broken down and was pounding on their door. The person would like officers to respond.
• At 12:35 p.m. a dog was at large. Animal Control responded and took the dog back to the owner with a citation. The owner refused to take the citation so the Lewistown Police Department responded to assist.
• At 5:27 p.m. the Mountain Acres Mobile Home Park and Campground reported someone had broken into the washing machine and had stolen the money.

July 28
• At 3:58 a.m. a 911 caller said she had a small pig in her back yard. The Judith Basin County Office was advised and will call the person.
